I met up with Christine & Kyle for the first time at their local Starbucks on the day of their session. From the moment I pulled up to this Rancho Palos Verdes Starbucks, I knew this session was going to be extraordinary. As I waited at a table for them to arrive, I looked out the window and enjoyed the incredible view of Abalone Cove. My excitement grew as the minutes passed. Christine arrived wearing this gorgeous white lace dress with flawless hair & makeup and a beautiful smile! I could not wait to begin! We took an Uber to Abalone Cove beach and hiked down the mountain side. I’ve never been one for hiking but it was totally worth it! Abalone Cove had everything a photographer could dream of in a location. A beautiful beach, perfect waves, mountain view, rocks and the most beautiful California sunlight. Before visiting California, I never understood this obsession with “California light” that other photographers were always raving about. Now I get it, it’s definitely not the same.

Christine & Kyle have been together for over 5 years and their love for one another is infectious. Their chemistry is undeniable and their portraits truly reflected it. They were down for anything and even walked across all of the sharp rocks like it was nothing! I am so happy with how their portraits came out and thankful I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful couple while out in California. I can not wait to return and do more photo sessions there!
