Welcome to the fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada! No matter if you’re a sinner or a saint, Las Vegas is a city everyone should visit at least once in their life. My boyfriend Sean has been visiting yearly since he was a little boy. So, when Frontier Airlines had insanely cheap tickets from MIA -> LAS, he jumped on the opportunity to take me to his favorite city. We stayed at the beautiful Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. It was super comfortable and much more quiet than the other hotels on the strip. The picture above was our view out the window.
Our first dinner in Las Vegas was at the Wynn Buffet. Apparently buffets are a big thing in Vegas, but they are nothing like the Golden Corral. The food is delicious and everything is plated beautifully. The options were endless and my favorite part was the huge dessert buffet.
Dating back to 1905, one of the oldest streets in Las Vegas is Fremont Street. It is the second most famous street in the Las Vegas Valley after the Las Vegas Strip. It’s home to some of the most famous Las Vegas Casinos, such as the Golden Nugget.
On our second night, we had dinner at the Top of The World Restaurant on the 106th floor of the Stratosphere. The Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. The restaurant revolves 360 degrees every 80 minutes, so you get to experience the most amazing views of Las Vegas. The food was delicious, especially their chocolate lovers dream cake. We also stopped to play some slots while we waited for our dinner reservation. I actually won $60 in the 25 cent slots!
After dinner we had tickets to see “O”: The Aquatic Las Vegas Classic Cirque Du Soleil at the Bellagio. Before we went inside we watched the famous fountain show. The show was amazing, it was my first Cirque du Soleil show and I can’t wait to go back and see another.
The next morning, we had brunch at The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar’s Palace. After we ate, we explored the hotel and mall.
After Caesar’s Palace, we headed to the Hoover Dam. On our way, we stopped off at Lake Mead to take a few photos.
As a fan of the show Pawn Stars, Gold and Silver Pawn Shop was a must stop. Afterwards, we headed to the Neon Sign Graveyard.
Sean wanted to show me all the beautiful Hotels & Casinos, so we checked out the Palazzo, Venetian, MGM Grand and the Luxor before heading back to our own hotel.

On our last day we checked out the rest of the famous Hotels & Casinos on the strip. My two favorites were The Aria and The Cosmopolitan. (Aria pictured above and below)
Loved all the sparkle at the Cosmopolitan.
Pictured above is inside the mall at Planet Hollywood. We also stopped for lunch at Gordon Ramsay Burgr at Planet Hollywood. It was hands down the best burger I ever had in my life. Highly recommend eating there. The Paris Casino is pictured below.
Our last stop on our trip was Red Rock Canyon. This place was incredible! The scenic tour was jaw dropping and they have places you can park, get out and look along the way.
This Toyota Yaris was our rental for the trip. Sean seemed to have a great liking for it and took this photo when I wasn’t paying attention.
I hope you enjoyed my Las Vegas blog post, be sure to like us on Facebook! You never know where we might end up next!
